The Historian is an open-access, primarily electronic journal published by the Department of History, Government College University, Lahore.   • Open Access: All published content is accessible free of charge, supporting inclusive and global scholarly dissemination.

2. Availability of Printed Copies

Although the journal operates electronically, printed copies may be provided under specific circumstances:

Institutional Copies

Academic libraries, research institutes, or archives may request printed versions of specific issues or articles for recordkeeping or academic use.

Conference or Event Distribution

Printed materials may be produced for academic conferences, book fairs, seminars, or events where the journal is represented.

3. How to Request Printed Copies

Individuals or institutions may request printed copies by contacting the editorial office.

Required Information:

  • Title(s) of the article(s) or issue(s) requested

  • Number of copies needed

  • Full mailing address

  • Contact details (email and phone)
